What's the latest ?!?!

So lately I have been swamped with school work, and work. I have a had a little time to work on a few projects, I am doing a fashion line with a friend for our school's fashion show. We made a lovely black and white bubble dress for a showcase for the show and I showed off a purple dress and blazer that I made a year ago at the showcase as well. DYO- Design Your Own

I had seen this scarf on Pinterest that I repined and kept going back to. So while looking at it over and over I found the link for the braided scarf tutorial (putapureduke.blogspot.com). The tutorial was very simple and understandable. So I had some free time on my hands and was like what the heck why no go for it.

All you need is: Fabric, Sewing Machine, Scissors,Thread and Needle ... I didn't have to go and buy anything, I had left over fabric from a previous project.It took me about 20 minutes to create. It's a great gift idea to give to friends or just make for yourself. Well here's my finish product :)

Recently I went to a store called Charming Charlie's, I was drawn in by all the different colors and fell in LOVE. Charming Charlie's is an accessories and jewelry store. They have some of everything, like shoes, hats, scarfs, handbags, a few apparel pieces and jewelry. Their color range is amazing and their prices are reasonable and they have good sales. Here are a few pieces that I like...I'm really into the triangular space and the hints of colors. The good part about the tribal pieces is you can wear them with anything, casual or dressy.

 Color Blocking has left the runway and hit the nail salons...it will be the hot thing this summer :)

In need of Cash ...FAST!

You ever look in your closet and think..."Wow  have a lot of stuff "or maybe"I have nothing to wear but a closet full of stuff." Either way I'm sure we all have stuff in our closets that we don't wear all the time. Well here's a way  to revamp your closet. You can either rent out some of your purses or shoes and even clothes to your friends or  sell them. I know I've let friends borrow bags and shoes and I've even bought stuff from a friends closet. A few ways to get stuff sold is to have a little selling party or post things on Facebook or Twitter. Be sure to have your prices set that way people can't talk you out of your money. Try to have reasonable prices, remember your goal is to make a few bucks and have a good time while cleaning out your closet.

A few MUST for the Summer.

Here are a few things that I think you should have this summer.

* You should always have a good foundation that has spf in it to protect your skin from the UV rays while looking pretty. You can find a brand that works best for your skin type.

* You should also try a good waterproof mascara, you would hate to have your mascara running in the summer heat. Not a good look. Many of the same brands you use now or everyday come in a waterproof version.

*You should try the Strap Perfect concealer clip or any time of bra concealer clip. We all hate when our bra straps show when we wear cute shirts or tank tops. They'll come in good handy and they are easy to use.

* You should try new body washes, Dove has a few new body washes out and they have a summer time body wash and other brands have some that keep the skin moisturized and give it a beautiful glow.

*You should try Nivea lip balm, it keeps your lips moisturized and comes in different assortments...some with shine and some that are gloss and then regular lip balm.


*** I personally use each brand that i have shown a picture of. I would never recommend the use of a product and haven't tried it myself.
